India and Philippines Joint Naval Drill
Manila: India and the Philippines have conducted joint naval exercises for the first time in the disputed South China Sea. This military deployment has angered China. The Chief of Staff General of the Philippines’s Armed Forces, General Romeo Shrown, said the two -day joint naval exercise started on Sunday. He hoped that the Philippines forces would be able to participate in more joint exercises with India’s army in future.

We already expected it. ”The Philippines army said that two ships of the Chinese Navy were seen, including a guided missile destroyer, about 25 sea -miles from one of the two Philippines Navy Frigate participating in the joint naval war exercise on Sunday.

The Southern Theater Command of the Chinese Army said that it patrolled regularly in the South China Sea on Sunday and Monday. The Southern Theater Command said that it is determined to protect the region of China and the protection of maritime rights and interests. China’s Foreign Ministry said that regional disputes should be resolved directly through the respective parties without any third party intervention.
President of Philippines is on a visit to India
Meanwhile, let us also tell here that the Philippines President Ferdinand Ar Marcos Jr. has started his five-day visit to India from Monday. The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement on 31 July that the yatra is an opportunity for the two countries to determine the path of future bilateral cooperation, talk on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
