Indian students will return to Delhi from Tehran by tonight

All of them have breathed a sigh of relief from this. The first flight will reach Delhi tonight at around 11 am. The second and third flights will arrive on Saturday. One of these will reach New Delhi in the morning and the other evening.

What is the total number of Indian citizens and students in Iran

According to an information given by the Government of India till the beginning of 2025, a total of about 10,000 Indian citizens were present in Iran, including 6,000 students. So far, according to the Ministry of External Affairs, a total of 10,320 Indian citizens were present in Iran, including 445 other people of Indian origin. That is, in total 10,765 Indians are present in Iran. In the event of the current war, around 6,000 Indian students are in Iran. While the rest are other citizens. Why are Indians returning?

Indians are returning due to the impact of Iran -Israel War. Israel on 13 June carried out airstrikes with about 200 fighter aircraft on Iran’s atomic and military bases.
