India expose Pakistan in UNSC
Indian diplomatic Aldos Matthew Punnus
UNSC Open Debate: In an open debate by the United Nations Security Council, India has exposed Pakistan by referring to the 1971 war. In an open debate on sexual violence in the conflict, Indian diplomat Aldos Matthew Punnus said that during the struggle, disgusting crimes such as sexual violence should be strongly condemned and they should be put in the dock of justice. Punnus said that it is an embarrassing truth that in 1971 the Pakistani Army committed inhuman sexual violence on millions of women in East Pakistan. Unfortunately, this condemnable series continues even today.
Recent reports of OHCHR mentioned
The Indian diplomat said that even today, incidents of kidnapping, human trafficking, child marriage, forced marriage, domestic slavery, sexual violence and forced conversion are taking place with women and girls from minority communities in Pakistan. They are being used as a weapon to harass and intimidate. These incidents have also been mentioned in recent reports of the United Nations Human Rights Organization (OHCHR).
This is the condition of Pakistan’s judiciary
Indian diplomatic Aldos Matthew Punnus said that reports also states that the judiciary of Pakistan also justifies these crimes many times. It is ironic that those who commit such crimes themselves, they also come forward as the contractors of justice. His dual policy and hypocrisy are clearly visible.
