Report about India’s population

The United Nations has released the World Population Station (SWP) Report 2025. It has been reported in this report that by the end of 2025, India’s population can reach 1.46 billion and this population will be the highest in the whole world. At the same time, a revelation has also been made in this report about the fertility rate. The report states that the fertility rate of the country has come below the total fertility rate. It has been said in this report that there are millions of people in the country who are not able to achieve their breeding goal and this situation has been described as a real problem instead of low or increasing population.

How much did the female fertilizer take place?

In the report released by the United Nations, it is said that the total fertility rate in India has come down to 1.9 per woman, which is below the replacement level 2.1. This makes sense that women of India are giving birth to less children to maintain population from one generation to another. We can also understand this that as many people are going from this world per day, not getting as many new births.

What percentage of people in which age group?

Let us tell you that according to the report, there is a decrease in the birth rate in the country, but still the youth population of India is still a very large part of the country’s population. According to the report, the country has 24 percent in the age group of 0-14, 17 percent in the age group of 10-19, 26 percent youth in 10-24 age group. The country’s 68 percent of the population is of working age, which is 15-64 age. These figures can give a possible employment benefit with adequate employment and good policy in the country. Meaning if there is employment and good policy, then India can become an economic superpower in future because the number of people working in the country is more.

What did Andrea M Wozner say?

On this report, UNFPA’s India representative Andrea M Wozner said, ‘India has made good progress in reducing the fertility rate. In the year 1970, there were about 5 children per woman and today there are about two children. Its complete credit goes to good education and reproductive health care. ‘
