A government official gave this information on Thursday. The official said that both interim and first phase of the bilateral trade agreement (BTA) will be interacted during this visit. Travel dates are not yet decided. However, sources say the party is expected to visit Washington next week.

Aggarwal said that India has so far implemented more than 14 free trade agreements (FTA) with 26 countries. He said in a program organized on ‘Export Logistics’ here, “Now we are joining the major markets. We have recently signed an agreement with Britain. We are in advance stages of interaction with the European Union. We are also trying to finalize the agreement with America and finalize it. ‘

Negotiations are also going on with these countries

He said that India is also talking on trade agreements with Latin American countries including Chile and Peru. Aggarwal said, “We have signed a trade agreement with Australia and the United Arab Emirates. We are interacting with New Zealand. We have been extensively associated with major business partners and major economies. ”
