For this reason, BCCI can decide to shift this match to Kolkata. The first Test can now be played at Eden Gardens from 14 to 18 November instead of Delhi.
According to the Times of India report, a BCCI official said that this decision will be taken keeping in mind the good of the players. Its official announcement will also be made soon. BCCI can give more matches to Delhi keeping the rotation policy in mind. Arun Jaitley Stadium of Delhi can host the second Test between India and West Indies from 10 to 14 October. The match is to be played in Kolkata.
Significantly, during the Delhi Test in 2017 too, Sri Lankan players played masks and made complaints about pollution. Many medical experts also believe that playing outside this season can affect health. In such a situation, this match is likely to shift from Delhi.
