Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation of India Muralidhar Mahol has given information about this on social media platform x. He tweeted and said- “Updates on airspace ban, notice to airmen (NOTAM), which banned Pakistani aircraft entry into Indian airspace, has been officially extended to 23 August 2025. This expansion reflects constant strategic ideas and corresponds to the existing security protocols. Stay for further updates.”
Air Force practice on Indo-Pak border
From 23 to 25 July 2025, the Indian Air Force is going to conduct a big practice on the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan. Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has also been issued for this. Let us tell you that during Operation Sindoor, Pakistan tried to target Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Sri Ganganagar districts of Rajasthan with drones and missiles. However, all Pakistan attacks were thwarted.
What happened from terrorist attack to Operation Sindoor?
In Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani terrorists killed about 26 tourists by asking religion. In response to this terrorist attack, India’s armed forces had destroyed the hideouts of Pakistani terrorists by firing missiles and drones. This army campaign was named Operation Sindoor. The Pakistan Army tried to attack India and also sent hundreds of drones, missiles and fighter aircraft. But India’s air defense system thwarted all attacks. After this, the Indian Air Force severely destroyed many aircraft and airbase of Pakistan. After this, Pakistan requested the ceasefire after which the struggle stopped. During this entire incident, more than 100 terrorists of Pakistan and a large number of military forces personnel and officers were also killed.
