India MPs will brief the world on Operation Sindoor against Pakistan. The central government is sending selected MPs of all parties on a foreign tour for 10 days from May 22 or 23. These MPs will go to America, UK, South Africa, Qatar and UAE. The government there will tell the side of India on terrorism.

News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that the number of MPs going abroad has not been ascertained yet. However, some leaders have said that the number of MPs may be more than 30. These are likely to include MPs of BJP, Congress, TMC, JDU, DMK, NCP (SP), BJD, CPI (M).

Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur and MP Aparajita Sarangi will be part of the BJP’s delegation on behalf of the BJP. The Congress will include Shashi Tharoor, Manish Tiwari, Salman Khurshid and Amar Singh. The names of Supriya Sule of NCP (SP) and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi have also surfaced.

Ministry of External Affairs asked MPs to be ready for traveling abroad
The Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) will give information to MPs before leaving for the diplomatic mission. A party leader did not reveal his name and told PTI that he had been asked to be ready to leave for 10 days by 22-23 May. The Ministry of External Affairs will contact them to share details related to travel.

At the same time, it is being told by sources in media reports that there will be 8 groups of 5-6 MPs in delegation. Along with the MPs, an official of the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea) and a government representative will also go. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is coordinating the foreign tour of MPs. Invitation has been sent to MPs. They have been advised to keep their passport and travel related documents ready.

Jairam Ramesh said- Congress will be part of delegation
There has been no official statement from the Center to send the delegation of MPs abroad. However, Congress General Secretary (Incharge Communication) Jairam Ramesh told PTI that Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has spoken to the Congress President in this regard.

Jairam Ramesh said, ‘The Prime Minister has decided to send multi -party delegation abroad to convince India’s attitude on terrorism from Pakistan. The Congress will be part of this delegation, because it does not do politics of national security issues like BJP.
