Indian women's cricket team could not prove Veda Krishnamurthy's statement right.

New Delhi, October 15 (IANS). Veda Krishnamurthy had said that this time the Indian team will dominate the Women’s T20 World Cup, but the women’s team could not prove this right by being out of the race for the semi-finals. Veda Krishnamurthy will turn 32 on October 16.

Former India cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy had said that the Women’s Blue will be very influential in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. But the Indian team could not even reach the semi-finals after losing to New Zealand and Australia.

Veda Krishnamurthy joined the senior state team at the age of 13 because of her ability to exert herself everywhere.

At 18, Veda scored a half-century on debut for India in the derby and, of course, she became complacent. Three years away from the game and away from home, a job with the Indian Railways in Delhi, took him out of his comfort zone and gave him an opportunity for introspection and improvement. Since his return, Veda has grabbed every opportunity to become an integral part of India’s limited overs team.

Indian batsman Veda Krishnamurthy also took up the responsibility of commentary in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games in 2022. Veda, who made her debut for India at the age of 18 against England in 2011, represented India in 48 ODIs and 76 T20Is. He has scored 829 runs in ODIs at an average of 25.90, while he has 875 T20 runs to his name. Veda last played for India in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Indian women’s team’s star batsman Veda Krishnamurthy has had a court marriage with cricketer Arjun Hoysala.
