Indigo flight engine failed
The flight number 6E6271 of IndiGo going from Delhi to Goa, after failing an engine, was fully landing in Mumbai in an emergency. The pilot immediately showed understanding and played the alarm after which the flight was safely landed and the flight was launched at Mumbai Airport as a precaution. The Indigo spokesperson issued a statement saying that on 16 July 2025, the technical fault was detected in flight number 6E 6271 while flying from Delhi to Manohar International Airport, Goa.
Indigo continues to say
The spokesperson said that after appropriate procedures as soon as the malfunction was detected, the aircraft was diverted and launched at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. However, the aircraft will be investigated and maintained before starting operations. Passengers have no problem and an alternative aircraft has been arranged to complete their journey. Passengers will be dispatched soon by alternative aircraft. We are sorry for the inconvenience to our customers due to this unexpected situation.
