Will get 12GB RAM
According to a post shared on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo recently, 12GB RAM can be found in the upcoming Apple iPhone 17 series. This will be a big upgrade in the phone’s memory. 8GB RAM is available in the iPhone 16 series launched last year. Not only this, memory upgrade will also be available in the upcoming iPhone 18 line-up, in which big internal storage is likely to be given.
Tipstter Digital Chat Station (DCS) also stated in its post that in upcoming iPhone 17 models, many new tools based on Apple Intelligence (AI) can be found, for which the company will increase the phone’s RAM. All models of iPhone 17 to be launched this year will come with TSMC’s 3Nm processor, ie the A19 Bionic Chipset series can be used, which will be faster than the A18 series.
The Apple iPhone 18 series can be introduced in the second half of 2026. In this, changes can be made from the design of the phone to the features. Recently, Apple Analyst Ming-C-Cuo also claimed that this year the company would use 12GB RAM in Standard iPhone 17. Apart from this, all models of the iPhone 18 series to be launched next year will be introduced with 12GB RAM.
