Apple will change the numbering of users to remove the confusion about the operating system. The company is now going to name the operating system according to the year instead of the serial number.
In September, the company rolls out its operating system for Apple devices. In such a situation, the new operating system is mainly used in Apple’s iPhone by September next year. The iOS 26 will be named after year 2026, so that users can know that this is the latest operating system. The iOS 26 will be rolled out with the iPhone 17 series.
Apart from this, this operating system will also be rolled out for old iPhones like iPhone 16, iPhone 15, iPhone 14, iPhone 13 series.
