IPL 2025 Qualifier-1: Hazelwood- Suyash’s deadly bowling and Salt’s explosive batting, RCB defeated Punjab by 8 wickets and made a place in the finals
IPL 2025 PBKS vs RCB Highlights: Josh Hazelwood and Suyash Sharma’s killer-1 in the qualifier-1 of IPL 2025 played in Mullampur broke the back of Punjab Kings and the team was reduced to 101 runs. For RCB, Josh Hazlewood took 3 wickets for 21 runs in 3.1 overs, while Suyash Sharma took 3 wickets for 17 runs in 3 overs. Yash Dayal also took 2 important wickets.
In response, RCB did not show any pity. The pair of Virat Kohli and Phil Salat started showering runs in the beginning. Kohli was definitely dismissed for 12 runs, but Salt’s storm continued. Mayank Agarwal was also dismissed by scoring 19 runs in 13 balls, but before that the work was almost done.
Salt played an unbeaten innings of 56 runs in 27 balls, including 6 fours and 3 sixes. RCB scored 102 runs in 10 overs and won the match by 8 wickets.
Now the RCB has reached the final directly, while Punjab will have to field again in Qualifier-2 on 1 June, where they will compete with the winner of the Eliminator.
