After this, Shreyas Iyer and Nehal Vadhera accelerated the pace of runs and made an important partnership of 84 runs for the fourth wicket. Vadhera missed the half -century and scored 48 runs in 29 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. At the same time, Shreyas scored an unbeaten 87 in 41 balls, in which 5 fours and 8 sixes hit. Due to which Punjab Kings won by losing 5 wickets while remaining one over.

Ashwini Kumar took 2 wickets for Mumbai Indians, captain Hardik Pandya and Trent Bolt took 1-1 wickets.

After getting the first batting invitation, Mumbai India scored 203 runs at the loss of 6 wickets. In which Suryakumar Yadav scored 44 runs in 26 balls and Tilak Verma scored 44 runs in 29 balls. Apart from this, opening batsman Johnny Bairstow scored 38 runs in 24 balls and Naman Dhir played a stormy innings of 37 runs in 18 balls, due to which Mumbai’s score reached 200.

For Punjab Kings, Azmatullah Umarzai took 2 wickets, Kyle Jamison, Yuzvendra Chahal, Marcus Stoinis and Vijaykumar Vaishak took 1-1 wickets.
