RCB vs PBKS IPL 2025 Final Highlights: Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Punjab Kings by 6 runs in the final match of IPL 2025 played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday (June 3) on the basis of brilliant bowling of Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. With this, RCB has won the IPL trophy for the first time.
Chasing the target, the Punjab team got the first blow on the total score of 43 runs, after which no big partnership was seen. Josh English scored 39 runs in 23 balls, Prabhasimran Singh scored 26 runs in 22 balls and 24 runs in 19 balls. Shashank Singh scored an unbeaten 61 runs in 30 balls with the help of 3 fours and 6 sixes but could not cross the threshold of victory and Punjab could score 184 runs by losing 7 wickets.
For RCB, Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2-2 wickets, Yash Dayal, Josh Hazlewood and Romario Shepherd took 1-1 wickets in their account.
After getting the first batting invitation, RCB scored 190 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. In which Virat Kohli, who was the top scorer, scored 43 runs in 35 balls. Apart from this, Rajat Patidar scored 36 runs, Liam Livingstone scored 25 runs, Mayank Agarwal and Jitesh Sharma scored 24-24 runs.
For Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh and Kelle Jaymison took 3-3 wickets, Vijaykumar Vaishya, Yuzvendra Chahal and Azmatullah Umarjai took 1-1 wickets.
