IPS officer Parag Jain will be the next head of R&AW
Parag Jain, a 1989 batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre, has been appointed as the new head of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) for a two -year term. He will replace the current R&P Secretary Ravi Sinha, whose term is ending on June 30. Jain will formally take over from 1 July. Jain is currently working as the head of the Aviation Research Center (ARC), who played an important role in ‘Operation Sindoor’ by gathering important intelligence on the Pakistani armed forces. Please tell that Parag Jain is an experienced officer. Prior to this, he has worked as the SSP of Chandigarh.
Important role played in protest campaign
Apart from this, Parag Jain has represented India in Canada and Sri Lanka in diplomatic roles. He has also done important anti -terrorism work in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, struggle has also contributed to the strategy of the Center in the affected areas. Please tell that Parag Jain has served in Raw for more than 15 years and is currently the head of the Aviation Research Center. Actually ARC is an important part of RAW which specializes in gathering technical and air intelligence. Parag Jain also played an important role in the era of terrorism in Punjab, where he has served as SSP in Bathinda, Mansa, Hoshiarpur, Chandigarh and SSP in Ludhia.
Important role played in Operation Sindoor
Parag Jain also played an important role in the operation vermilion that the Indian Army launched against Pakistan recently. In fact, on the basis of intelligence collected under his leadership, accurate missile attacks were carried out on terrorist structures. Parag Jain is appointed at a time when India is facing complex security threats such as cross-border terrorism, Khalistani revival, and China-Pakistan coordination. Experts believe that Jain’s experience and strategic approach will further strengthen Raw, especially in pre-measuring action and intelligence-based strategies.
