iQoo 12 smartphone series is launching globally on 7th November. It is said that the company will introduce iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro models. Some important information including the processor and back panel design of this series has been revealed so far. Camera details have also been teased. The special thing is that the launch date of iQoo 12 series in India has been revealed. IQoo’s new phones will be launched in India in the month of December.
Iku has given this information in an email invite. iQoo India CEO Nipun Marya has also confirmed in a post on social media platform X that iQoo 12 5G will be launched in India in December. This phone series will be launched on December 12. The base model of the series will be iQoo 12, which will replace iQoo 11. However, whether the iQoo 12 series Pro models will be brought to India or not is not confirmed yet.
Talking about the specifications, iQoo 12 5G will be packed with Qualcomm’s latest processor which is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It may come with Android 14. The phone can have a 6.78-inch BOE OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Its display will have a peak brightness of 3 thousand nits and 2,160Hz PWM dimming rate.
Talking about camera sensors, the iQoo 12 is said to have a triple rear camera unit. The phone may have a 50-megapixel primary OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). Also, a 50 megapixel sensor can be provided with ultra-wide angle lens. This phone can also come with a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter. A 16-megapixel selfie camera can be provided in the phone.
The iQoo 12 5G is likely to have an IP64 rating. It is said to support connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Wi-Fi 7. The phone may have a 4880mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.
