Congress leader Salman Khurshid wrote in the X post on Monday- When India is on a mission to send its message against terrorism, people in the country are assessing political loyalty. This is sad. Is it so difficult to be a patriot?

Salman’s statement is being seen against the statement of his party and opposition leaders. On May 1, Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge had said that PM Modi should stop praising himself on Operation Sindoor. They should focus on the enemy.

Salman Khurshid is involved in the delegation led by JDU MP Jha who is on a foreign tour to take a stand against Operation Sindoor and Pakistan -backed terrorism. His delegation has so far visited Indonesia, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. It is currently in Malaysia.

Delegation has a visit to Malaysia. He left on 21 May. These include BJP MPs Brij Lal, Din Barua, Hemang Joshi and Aparajita Sarangi, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee, CPIM MP John Britas and Ambassador Mohan Kumar.

May 1: Kharge said- PM on Operation Sindoor

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge had advised PM Modi. He said- PM Modi should focus on the enemy instead of praising himself for Operation Sindoor. Nobody can do this other than them.

At the same time, the Congress has demanded the Central Government to call a special session of Parliament to discuss military and foreign policy. The demand was made after the interview of Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan in Singapore.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh had told the PTI that the government should take all parties and the nation in confidence. After Operation Sindoor, discuss India’s defense preparations and strategies. The PM or the Defense Minister should have told the opposition leaders in the all -party meeting what General Chauhan has said in Singapore.
