How to check?
- For this, you should first know the IMEI number of the phone, which is written on the phone box.
- If, if there is no box for the phone, then go to the dial pad of the phone and type *# 06# and press the send or call button.
- You will get a 15 -digit IMEI number on the screen.
- After finding out the IMEI number, you have to go to the message app.
- Then you have to send a message on 14422.
- Go to the body of the message and type Kym and enter IMEI number of 15 points by giving space
- For example, send ‘Kym 123456789012345’.
- After this, send it to 14422.
After sending the message, you will receive a message from the government, in which it will be known whether the phone is stolen or not. If, blacklisted in the message is written, then understand that this phone is of theft and its IMEI number has been blacklisted. You can also get caught in legal troubles by purchasing stolen phones.
