Is Tiktok’s entry in India after 5 years, why is there a stir on social media about Chinese app

5 years ago, the Government of India banned Tiktok. Now new news is coming out about this Chinese app. On Friday, some users on social media claimed that they are able to accelerate the ticket website in India. However, the ticket app on Play Store and App Store is not yet available to Indian users. On June 29, 2020, the Government of India decided to block 59 apps including Tiktok.

Tiktok shot was the favorite app of video creators. However, no official statement has come yet to return to India’s return to India. Some users claimed that they could open the ticket website, although many people said that the website was still not opening for them.

In June 2020 5 years ago, the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi banned other popular Chinese apps as well as Tiktok. 59 Chinese apps including Shareit, Mi Video Call, Club Factory and Cam Scanner were banned in the country. The Center cited the reason for banning Tiktok and other apps as a threat to national security and sovereignty.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said in its statement that these apps were involved in activities that are harmful to India’s sovereignty and integrity, defense of India, security of the state and public system.
