Vaibhav Suryavanshi remains Talk of the Town after scoring a century against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 and a lot of discussion has started about his India debut. However, in the meantime the great Sunil Gavaskar has said that fans should be patient with Vaibhav Suryavanshi and they Indian team I should not be hurry to see as a debut player.

Suryavanshi has become the youngest cricketer to play IPL at the age of 14. Talking to Sports Today, Gavaskar said that everyone needs to see whether Suryavanshi is able to continue his performance in the second season ‘or not. The Indian veteran also told that many stars of the previous season are struggling to score runs this season as the teams have planned to deal with them. Gavaskar feels that the teams will do the same with Suryavanshi.

Sunil Gavaskar said, “I think we should be patient. In any match, when you are new players, people do not know much about you. The second season syndrome is the one you should pay attention. In the second season, when you are a little more recognized, you see all the big hitters who had done very well in the last season. What to bowl is not to do, this is why some successful players of the previous season are not as successful this time.

Gavaskar finished his talk saying, “This is a sensational beginning. See, making a half-century in the T20 format is a big achievement. But here is a young player who is only 14 years old, who is only 14 years old, who scored 100 runs with the help of 11 sixes and 7 fours. So I mean I mean that the batting talent is present and how he fulfills all the expectations in the future, this will be important for him in the future.”
