Ishaan Kishan has signed a small contract with England’s famous county team Nottinghamshire. During this time he will play in two county championship matches. The first match will be against Yorkshire at Trent Bridge on 22 June and the second against Summerset in Tonton on 29 June.

Reacting to his selection, Ishaan Kishan said, “I am very excited to play in county cricket. Playing on England pitches will be a great opportunity for me. This will give me a chance to improve my game. Playing on a historic field like Trent Bridge is a matter of pride for any player and I am very thrilled for this experience.”
Kishan’s commitment and his vision was appreciated by Kishan’s head coach Peter Moles, head coach of Nottinghamshire County Club. He said, “Ishaan is not only a strong hitter, but he is very excited to pursue his red ball game. We want the players to play in their natural way and Kishan is joining us with the same thinking.”
Apart from limited overs, strong performance in first class also
Although Ishaan Kishan is known as an explosive player of T20 and ODI, his first class career figures are also impressive. Kishan has so far scored 3447 runs in 58 first class matches, including eight centuries and 17 half -centuries. His performance in wicketkeeping has also been excellent – 1118 catches and 11 stumpings are recorded.
Increasing presence of Indian stars in county
Apart from Ishaan Kishan, many Indian players are participating in this summer county cricket. Tilak Verma is playing for Hampshire, Ruturaj Gaikwad will join Yorkshire, while Yuzvendra Chahal will return to Northamptonshire.
