Washington DC: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a big statement after meeting US President Donald Trump at a White House on Tuesday. He said that the joint attack on Israel and America on Iran would prove to be a “game-changer” for the entire region. He said that ‘first power, then peace’ is our goal and this is our strategy. Netanyahu made this statement during a meeting with US Representative Assembly President Mike Johnson at Capital Hill. The meeting was held on the day when Netanyahu had a significant conversation with President Donald Trump at the White House a day earlier.
Israel-US relationship more stronger than before
Prime Minister Netanyahu said, “The relationship between Washington and Jerusalem is much stronger and intimate than ever.” Netanyahu’s statement came at a time when the US and Israel’s strategic partnership over the Gaza war, the growing activities of Iran and regional tension is at a significant turn. The Israeli Prime Minister said that the “strong support” from the US in the short -term war against Iran has “brought a major change in our region” and it can lead to peace in the Middle East.
Coordination between US-Israel unprecedented
Talking to reporters after a private meeting with US Representative Assembly Speaker Mike Johnson (Republican-Luisiana) in Washington, Netanyahu said, “The coordination between our two countries one US President and an Israeli Prime Minister is unprecedented. It is unprecedented. Netanyahu reported that the decision by US President Donald Trump to attack Iran’s nuclear bases with Israel has proved to be a “game-changer”.

Netanyahu said, “President Trump and I believe in the principle of ‘peace through Shakti’. First power comes, then peace comes. Trump has brought decisive action against those who destroy Israel and endanger the world’s peace, bringing decisive action with us, bringing an extraordinary change in the entire Middle East.” He issued a statement repeating the same spirit after a meeting with speaker Mike Johnson. A big statement on Gaza also
Prime Minister Netanyahu also said that efforts are on to end the war going on in Gaza and release the remaining hostages. At the Cabinet meeting of President Trump on Tuesday, his former special envoy Steve Witchoff hoped that by the end of this week, there could be an agreement between Israel and Hamas on a ceasefire. Netanyahu’s visit took place at a time when a recent survey of the University of Quinipiaq recorded the US support for Israel at the lowest level after 2017. According to the survey, only 5% of the Americans said that the US should support Israel more, while 42% said that the US is supporting Israel a lot, and 45% considered the current support to be sufficient. He said, “Once people are aware of the facts, the victory is ours.”
