Damascus: The Israeli army has attacked the Syrian capital Damascus. The attack took place on Tuesday in Kiswa, the southern suburb of Damascus. At least 6 Syrian soldiers have been killed in this Israeli drone attacks. Many others were also injured. This information was given by the Syrian government media and a war monitoring institution on Wednesday.
Attacks in Damascus and Sweda
Government television channel ‘Al-Ekhbaria’ said that the attack took place on Tuesday night and all the soldiers killed in it were associated with the Syrian army. However, the report does not provide detailed information about the attack. Israel’s army has not yet made any official comment on this attack. According to the UK -based monitoring organization ‘Syrian Observatory for Human Rights’, drone attacks were carried out in the area connecting Damascus and Southern Province Sweda. This is the same area where there were violent clashes between pro -Syrian government armed groups and fighters of the Drauz minority community last month. Many people lost their lives in these clashes, due to which this area has become the center of tension.
Syrian military properties also suffered losses
It is being told that some military properties of the Syrian army have been damaged during the drone attack, although it has not been officially confirmed. Even before this, Israel has carried out several attacks inside Syria, which have been aimed at targeting organizations such as Iran -backed fighters and Hezbollah.
