Israel Gaza Attack: Amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the armed wing of the Palestine extremist group has made a big claim. In fact, the Al-Qassam Brigade claimed on Wednesday (November 1) that on Tuesday (October 31), Israel attacked the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza and killed 7 hostages. Three of the deceased hostages were foreign nationals. It is noteworthy that a total of 50 people are reported to have died in the attack on the refugee camp.
It is known that on October 7, Hamas attacked Israel and killed 1400 people. Along with this, Hamas fighters had taken 240 people hostage with them, after which the Israeli Army’s retaliatory action is going on in the Gaza Strip. More than 8,500 Palestinians have now been killed in Israeli attacks, two-thirds of whom are women and children.
Hamas has released four civilians
So far the extremist group has released four civilians, including two American citizens. Along with this, the Israeli Army has claimed that it has freed one of its soldiers from the captivity of Hamas. Amidst the war, Israel claimed that it killed a Hamas commander in an airstrike. However, Hamas has denied this.
Netanyahu has said that the fight will continue
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday (November 1) that the war against Hamas will continue despite losses in ground fighting inside the Gaza Strip. “We have many important achievements, but there are also painful losses,” Netanyahu said after the Israeli military confirmed that at least 11 soldiers had been killed in ground fighting on Tuesday.
At present, mobile and internet services have come to a complete standstill in Gaza. According to BBC report, some mobile phones in Gaza are receiving signals from Israeli mobile towers and some international SIM cards are also working.
