Israel Iran Conflict: Indian students trapped in Iran have made a big appeal to PM Modi’s government. The students have said that “We should be evacuated from here soon, as our lives are threatened by the continuous explosions. Hundreds of Indian students are spending the day in fear and panic amidst the ever -increasing Israeli attacks in Iran. Especially the students studying in Shahid Beheshti University and other medical institutions located in Tehran are appealing to the Government of India to get them safe as soon as possible.

22-year-old Imamasal Mohidin, a student resident of Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir, said “We woke up with loud blasts at 2:30 pm. We have run away in the basement and have not been able to sleep since then,” this is to say 22-year-old Immisal Mohidin, who is from the third year of MBBS at the University of Immisal Mohidin. He said that there are about 350 Indian students in the university, who have been hiding in the basements of hostels and apartments due to attacks for the last few days. Imatisal said, “We hear the sounds of the blasts every night. A blast was just 5 kilometers away. It has not been able to sleep properly for three days.” The university has postponed classes and students are avoiding exit.
A fear of fear among students
Similarly, Faizan Nabi, a student of Karman Medical University, told ANI that “The situation in our city is a bit better, but fear is spreading rapidly. Today we heard the sounds of bullets too. We have been asked to deposit 3-4 days of water.” Faizan, a resident of Srinagar, says, “My parents call ten times a day. The internet is so slow that it has become difficult to send messages. We came to make doctors, now it is just a struggle to escape alive.” At the same time, the fourth year student of Iran University of Medical Sciences Midhat (hails from Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir) said that “The first night was the most scary. The blasts were near. We are all scared and closed inside. The university has not received any special help from the university.”
