Jerusalem/Gaza: Gaza has already become a crematorium in the Israeli army attack. But now the Israeli Defense Minister has threatened Hamas another big threat. Defense Minister Israel Cartz has threatened to turn Gaza into a pile of rubble. This is now indicating Israel’s military action in Gaza.
What did Cartz say?
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katj on Friday clearly warned that if Hamas did not accept Israel’s terms, Gaza City would be completely destroyed. He said that we would completely turn Gaza into a pile of debris. This warning has been given at a time when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave full permission to the Israeli army to capture Gaza City. Netanyahu had given a statement that “Gaza is no longer a safe shelter and we will destroy every source of terror.”
“Gaza City will become like Rafah and Bait Hanoon”
The Defense Minister warned on the social media platform X that the fate of Gaza City can be the same as in the first phase of the war, areas like Rafah and Bait Hanoon, which have now become a pile of debris. He wrote, “If the killers and rapists of Hamas hidden in Gaza do not accept the conditions of Israel, then the doors of hell are going to open very soon.”
Conditions of Israel’s ceasefire
The Defense Minister reiterated that the Israeli ceasefire will be done only when all Israeli hostages are released unconditionally. Hamas should be completely dismissed. These conditions are considered to be the “red line” of Israel and the government says that no compromise will be made without it.
Hamas reaction
On the other hand, Hamas has said that he can agree on the end of the war in exchange for the release of the hostages, but he has rejected the demand for full disarmament of Israel. Hamas claims that it will not put weapons until the independent Palestinian nation is established. Due to this attitude, the gap between the two sides has become deeper, increasing the possibility of a broad and long war.
International concern increased
The concerns of the international community have also increased amid reports of increasing destruction and casualties of citizens in Gaza. The United Nations and other global institutions are repeatedly appealing to the ceasefire, but Israel is adamant on its stand. (AP)
