Tokyo’s big action: Japan’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement issued on Tuesday that Japan has imposed new sanctions on individuals and a company associated with the Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas. Japan has added the names of some individuals, including Hamas’s Mohammed Ahmed Abd al-Dayim Nasrallah and Ayman Nofal, to its terrorist list.
