Israeli army recovered 2 more bodies of hostages from Gaza Strip
Benjamin Netanyahu and the bodies whose bodies have been found. The hostages have been identified as Judih Veenstein and Gad Haggai.
Tel Aviv: Israel has recovered the bodies of 2 Israeli-Americans held hostage during the Hamas attack on 7 October 2023. Officials have given information about this on Thursday. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement that the bodies of Judih Veenstein and Gaid Haggai have been recovered and brought to Israel under a special campaign run by the army and internal security agency ‘Shin Bet’.
What did PM Netanyahu say?
PM Netanyahu said, “On behalf of all the citizens of Israel, I express condolences to their families. May God give peace to his soul. ”Kibbutz Neer Oz confirmed the death of Veenstein (70) and Haggai (72) in December 2023. Kibutj Neer Oz is a community. The Israeli army said that both of them were killed in an attack on October 7 and their bodies were recently recovered from the city of Khan Yunus in the city of Southern Gaza.
Israeli attacks continue
Meanwhile, according to Nasir Hospital, at least 10 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attacks overnight in Khan Unis. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 3 local journalists were killed and six people were injured in an attack on the Al-Ahli hospital complex in Gaza city. The immediate identity of the journalists was not stated as well as not even told which media institute they worked. The Israeli army said that it was investigating the report of the attack on Al-Ahli.
