In fact, a review meeting of the Education Department was held and in that meeting, the Chief Minister of the state Pushkar Singh Dhami took a decision in this matter. This decision of the state government of Uttarakhand has been welcomed by the Madrasa Board Chairman Mufti Shamoon Kazmi.

State President of Madrasa Board Mufti Shamoon Kazmi has praised the state government’s decision. He said that Uttarakhand is constantly moving towards becoming an advance state under the leadership of the Chief Minister. There is news news that Srimad Bhagwat Gita will be taught inside the syllabus in schools. It is very important to familiarize people with the life of Shri Rama, reach Shri Krishna to the people and to know this of every Indian. This will also establish brotherhood inside people. He said that we have taken an MoU with the Sanskrit department to teach Sanskrit introduction in madrasas, for this purpose.

Mufti Shamoon Kazmi said that this decision will also strengthen communal harmony and the state will move forward. Those who have created distance between us will be far away and we are also benefiting the children of madrasas from these things. Regarding the decision to teach Bhagavad Gita in all government schools of the state, CM Dhami said, ‘Bhagavad Gita is a sacred book containing the knowledge given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna, which is useful for a person’s life, if it is read carefully. We decided in the review meeting of the Department of Education that the Gita will be taught in all the schools of the state and this process has started.
