Virat Kohli took retirement before the tour of England and gave up the senses of cricket fans. After his retirement announcement, many veterans have said that they should withdraw retirement. Now the name of former Indian cricketer Madan Lal has also been added to this episode. Lal has urged Virat Kohli to withdraw his retirement from Test cricket only after the defeat in the third Test against England at Lord’s.

Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket just before the tour of England, causing a stir in the entire cricket world. Lal said that there is nothing wrong in changing this decision and he requested this experienced batsman to share his experiences with the youth for the betterment of Indian cricket in the near future. Lal also said that Virat Kohli is not obsessed with Virat Kohli.

Talking to NDTV Sports, Madan Lal said, “Virat Kohli’s passion was unmatched for Indian cricket. Give it to the youth now.

Talking about the third Test at Lord’s, England took a 2–1 lead in the five-match Test series after a tough competition at Lord’s. Chasing the target of 193 runs on the fifth day, the Indian team remained 22 runs away from the target despite Ravindra Jadeja’s unbeaten 61 runs in 181 balls and was reduced to 170 runs, due to which England won the match by 22 runs and took a 2–1 lead in the series.
