Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandes received a setback from the Delhi High Court. Jacqueline did not get relief from the High Court in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Jacqueline had challenged the FIR lodged by the ED and the lower court order over cognizance case on it. While giving her petition in the High Court, Jacqueline had described all the allegations against her as false and also dismissed the matter of liverin relationship with thugs Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacqueline filed a petition saying that all the allegations against her were false. He said that Sukesh Chandrashekhar has not only committed a fraud with him, but Aditi Singh has also committed fraud. Jacqueline said that she was targeted by Sukesh Chandrashekhar and she has no hand in the money laundering case. Jacqueline has rejected Sukesh Chandrasekhar’s claim that she was in a relationship with her.
What is the whole matter?
Justice Anish Dayal, while delivering the verdict, said, “The petition is dismissed.” A detailed copy of the decision is awaited. The ED case arises from the forced recovery case filed against Chandrashekhar by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police in August 2022, allegedly accused of allegedly cheating and cheating from Aditi Singh, wife of former Railways Enterprises promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, former promoter of Railways Enterprises. She had offered to get bail to her husband in jail by calling himself a Central Law Secretary. ED and EOW are investigating the alleged fraud in different ways. While EOW is investigating allegations of fraud and corruption inside the jail, ED is investigating allegations of money laundering. The ED made Fernandez co-accused in the case.
