Peshawar: Jafar Express has been targeted once again in Pakistan. The incident took place in Mastung district of South-Western Balochistan province of Pakistan. Six coaches of Jafar Express derailed due to explosives on track here. Four people have been injured in this incident. Giving information about the incident, officials said that at the time when the train was targeted, she was going towards Peshawar. The Jafar Express was also targeted earlier and the train was hijacked.
What did Pakistani railway officials say?
A Pakistan Railway official said that the train had exploded near Spagend railway station, about 25 km from Quetta. He told that the blast took place when the train took 350 passengers towards its destination at 9 am. Muhammad Kashif, a public relations officer of Quetta Mandal of Pakistan Railway, told the media, “A bomb on the railway track caused a loud explosion, which derailed six coaches of the train going from Quetta to Peshawar. It was a matter of honor that no one died.” The official said that all the injured passengers had suffered minor injuries. Rescue teams, including railway employees, have been sent to the spot as well as accident relief train was also sent to reach the trapped passengers.
Jafar Express and Boln Mail services suspended
Officials said that the security forces and police have laid siege to the area while the bomb disposal squad has been deployed to vacate the tracks. Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Kashif said that the services of Jafar Express and Bolon Mail have been suspended by 14 August. He said that Bollan Mail will resume its operations on 16 August (Saturday).

The Jafar Express, which runs between Quetta and Peshawar, has been repeatedly targeted in recent months. On August 7, the train survived narrowly near Sibi railway station in Balochistan, where the bomb near the track exploded soon after the passing of the train. In another incident, on August 4, gunmen near Kolpur fired while targeting the engine. The separatist Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. In June, a remote controlled explosive equipment on railway tracks exploded, derailing four coaches of Jafar Express in Jacobabad. (Language)
