Washington: US President Donald Trump’s claim on ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor has been rejected by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Jaishankar said, “We know what happened, now let him leave it there”. While answering the questions of journalists on the sidelines of the Quad Summit in Washington, Jaishankar has turned the trump’s claims with his statements.

Strong negotiation in India-Pakistan DGMO

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar clarified in Washington that the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan was the result of direct talks between the Director General of Operations (DGMOS) of the two countries. He dismissed US President Donald Trump’s claim in which he had talked about linking the ceasefire with India with trade talks.

Trump has been repeatedly claiming to have ceasefire

US President Donald Trump has been repeatedly claiming that he stopped the business from being a nuclear war between India and Pakistan, using the business as a strategic weapon. Trump claims that he had a ceasefire in the two countries by luring business. However, India has already rejected Trump’s claim many times. Now Jaishankar has also wrongly justified Trump’s claim.

Jaishankar said-In this time, the record of what happened is clear

Speaking to reporters at Washington DC, Jaishankar said, “What happened at that time, its record is very clear and the ceasefire was an issue that was decided through negotiations between the DGMOS of the two countries.” Thus, the Foreign Minister denied the role of Trump and described the direct negotiations between India and Pakistan as the real basis of the ceasefire.

India performed operations in Pakistan

Let me tell you that on April 22, 26 Indians from Pakistan in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir were shot dead. After this, on the night of 6-7 May, India blew up 9 terrorist bases of Pakistan in a missile attack. More than 100 terrorists of Jaish and Lashkar were killed in it. Due to this, Pakistan started a counter -attack on India, which India stopped efficiently and destroyed its 11 military bases and destroyed it again. After this, Pakistan started pleading for ceasefire. India stopped the war on 9-10 May on the demand of Pakistan. US President Donald Trump was taking its credit.
