A Japan’s private lander crashed while trying to land on the moon.
Tokyo: A Japan’s private lander crashed while trying to land on the moon on Friday. The Tokyo -based company ISpace declared the mission to fail several hours after losing contact with the lander. The launch controllers made all efforts to contact the lander but did not get any message after which they said that they were ending the mission.
The first mission was also failed
The communication stopped two minutes before the spacecraft landed on the moon with the mini rover. Before that, it seemed that the process of getting off the Moon’s class was going on smoothly. Ispace Chief Executive Officer and founder Takeshi Hakamada apologized to all those who contributed to the mission. This was the second lunar mission of Ispace. The company’s first attempt to reach the Moon also failed two years ago, after which its lander was named ‘Resilians’.

The ‘resolution’ also took a rover with a shovel to collect the dust of the moon and also took a red toy house made by a Swedish artist to place a rover and the moon on the dust surface. Company officials said that it would be too early to say whether the two missions failed due to the same problem. Hakamada told reporters, “This is the second time we were unable to get down.” So we have to take it very seriously. ”He said that the company will work on more lunar missions. (AP)
