Jasprit Bumrah surprised everyone with his brilliant yorker bowling against Lucknow Super Giants. Bumrah made a clean bold to Abdul Samad and Avesh Khan in two consecutive balls, causing tremendous upheaval in Lucknow’s innings. These two yorker balls of Bumrah proved to be the decisive moment of the match, and due to his excellent bowling, Mumbai Indians won Lucknow for 161 runs to win by 54 runs.
Mumbai Indians (Mi) star bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowled brilliantly against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Wankhede Stadium in the 45th match of IPL 2025. Bumrah took 4 wickets for only 22 runs in 4 overs, including important wickets of Markram and David Miller. But Bumrah’s real impression was found when he dismissed Lucknow batsmen Abdul Samad and Avesh Khan with an accurate yorker for two consecutive balls.

This feat was done by Bumrah in the 16th over of LSG’s innings, causing Lucknow to 142/8. With this brilliant bowling performance, MI won Lucknow for 161 runs and won the match by 54 runs. In addition, the bowling of Trent Bolt (3-20), Will Jacks (2–18), and Corbin Bosch (1-26) also demolished Lucknow’s batting order. With this victory, Mumbai Indians moved to second place in the points table, while Lucknow had a second consecutive defeat.
