The death of veteran actor of Punjabi films and famous comedian Jaswinder Bhalla has caused a wave of mourning in the industry. Jaswinder breathed his last at Fortis Hospital in Mohali at the age of 65. He had a brain stroke on August 20, after which he was hurriedly admitted to the hospital.

According to reports, Jaswinder Bhalla’s blood was also swept away due to brain stroke. The doctors were constantly trying to fix them since they were brought to the hospital. But Jaswinder passed away on Friday morning. Jaswinder Bhalla’s funeral will take place on 23 August in Mohali. The doctors revealed that there has been a lot of blood loss from his body.

Before appearing in films, Jaswinder Bhalla was a professor at Punjab Agriculture University. He was a PAD holder. Jaswinder Bhalla was also a professor at Punjab University. Jaswinder is survived by his wife Paramjit Kaur Bhalla, son Pukhraj Bhalla and daughter Jasmine Bhalla. Jaswinder’s sons are also trying their luck in acting.

Jaswinder Bhalla was born on 4 May 1960 in Doraha, Ludhiana, Punjab. He was active in Punjabi films and theater for more than three decades and made a household identity with his comic timing. Jaswinder started his career as a comedian in 1988 as a comedian from ‘Chhankata 55’. At the same time, he had a film career ‘Dulla Bhatti’ movie.

Jaswinder Bhalla, who worked in films like Mera Dil Looteya, Power Cut, Atmosphere Ok, Jija Ji, Kabaddi Once Again and Apna Milage, besides Mel Kar Kar Karo, Carrie on Jatta, Carry on Jatta 3 and Jatt 3 and Juliet. Before appearing in films, Jaswinder Bhalla was a professor at Punjab Agriculture University.
