On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Reliance Jio has launched its high speed internet service ‘Jio AirFiber’. It has been introduced in 8 metro cities of the country. The company has launched two types of plans in the market. The cheapest plan starts at Rs 599 per month. Customers taking Jio AirFiber connection will be provided ultra high speed internet service without cables i.e. wires.

Jio has said that it has made Jio Air Fiber service live in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune. It is an integrated end-to-end solution that will provide services like home entertainment, smart home services and high-speed broadband.
Two plans of Jio AirFiber introduced
Jio has introduced two types of plans. The first is Air Fiber and the second is Air Fiber Max. In Air Fiber plan, customers will get two types of speed plans. 30Mbps and 100Mbps.
Air Fiber 30 Mbps plan is priced at Rs 599. For 100 Mbps air fiber plan, you will have to pay Rs 899. In both the plans, customers will get more than 550 digital channels and 14 entertainment apps.
Jio has introduced another plan with 100 Mbps speed. Its price is Rs 1199 per month. With this plan, not only will there be support for all the channels and apps, you will also get access to premium apps like Netflix, Amazon and Jio Cinema.

Jio has said that customers who want higher internet speed can choose ‘Air Fiber Max’ plan. Under this, the company has introduced three plans ranging from 300 Mbps to 1000 Mbps i.e. 1 Gbps. The price of 300 Mbps speed plan is Rs 1499 per month. The price of 500 Mbps speed plan is Rs 2499. The plan with 1 Gbps speed is priced at Rs 3999. More than 550 digital channels, 14 entertainment apps and premium apps like Netflix, Amazon and Jio Cinema will also be available with all plans.
Jio says that Jio Air Fiber will ease the difficulty of last mile connectivity. The company is hoping to reach 20 crore homes and premises through this service. The company has made it clear that customers taking the plan will be given the latest Wi-Fi router, 4K smart set-top box and voice active remote for free.
