Juniper Green Energy IPO: Renewable energy company Junipar Green Energy will soon bring its IPO. Junipar Green Energy has filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) near SEBI for IPO. According to documents submitted with SEBI, Junipar Green Energy will raise Rs 3000 crore from its IPO. All fresh shares worth Rs 3000 crore will be issued under this IPO and there will be no OFS of any kind.

Plan to raise Rs 600 crore before IPO

Junipar is also planning to raise Rs 600 crore through pre-IPO placements before bringing Green Energy IPO. If this happens, the size of the new issue will be reduced accordingly. The company told SEBI that out of the money received from the IPO, Rs 2250 crore will be used to repay the loan. While the remaining money will be used for investing and for general corporate purposes. Let us tell you that by May 2025, the company had a total fund based debt of Rs 5894.3 crore.

List in market will compete with huge companies

Junipar Green Energy portfolio includes solar energy as well as wind energy. After the list is listed in the market, it will compete directly in the market with big companies like List Adani Green Energy, NTPC Green Energy, Suzalon. In the financial year 2023-24, the company earned a net profit of Rs 40 crore, while the company had a net loss of Rs 12 crore in the last financial year. ICICI Security, HSBC Security and Capital Market (India), JM Financial and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company have been appointed to manage this IPO.
