The Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) has appointed famous actress and politician Kangana Ranaut as the official brand ambassador of the World Para Athletics Championship. He expressed happiness over getting this responsibility.
A powerful voice in public life Ms. Ranaut’s involvement brings immense energy, visibility and focus to para-athletics in the country.
As a rand ambassador, she will advocate the values of flexibility, inclusion and excellence. On this occasion, PCI President and two -time Paralympic gold medalist Devendra Jhajharia said, “His passion, influence and commitment to India players make him an ideal trior to New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships.”
Sharing the idea of his new role, Kangana Ranaut said, “India’s para athletes are writing it again every day. I am very respected to support them and help to help raise awareness about their incredible achievements. Para game is not only about competition- it is about courage and I am proud of our champion players.”
The Indian Paralympic Committee believes that Kangana’s voice will significantly increase public engagement with Para Games and inspire the next generation of athletes and fans across the country.
It is noteworthy that the New Delhi World Para Athletics Championship to be held in September-October will participate in more than 100 countries in 2025 and it will be the largest para-sporting event organized by India.(agency)
