Kumi Kapoor said, my daughter is a lawyer, so I included two clauses on her salary. The makers had the entire artistic freedom to make the film, but nothing should be changed that is contrary to the publicly available historical facts.

He said, it was also said in the agreement that the writer and book name cannot be used without pre -written consent for promotion or earning of the film. I was in Goa and I did not watch the film at that time. I was confident that they would take care of the agreement between us. But they are still claiming that the film is based on the book.

Kumi Kapoor said that she has sent two legal notices, but none of them have received any response. When she saw that the title of the film is very similar in the name of her book, she was surprised.

In the legal notice, he also claimed that Kangana’s ‘Emergency’ has many mistakes. The fact is that the Emergency was not removed until Indira Gandhi lost the general election in March 1977.
