Kangana Ranaut’s Tejas leaves UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in tears | Pics inside

New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday held a special screening of her latest release Tejas which was graced by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami with their presence in Lucknow. The 36-year-old star, as the film ended, revealed that Yogi Adityanath was teary-eyed during the last monologue of the flick.

Kangana further thanked the UP leader for his praise and blessings over the film. She also shared some pictures from the event on social media. He has assured full support to us and he will motivate the nationalists to connect with the action-thriller movie, she was quoted as saying by a news agency.

Tejas has failed to attract footfall to theatres. The film is said to be a Box Office disaster within two days of its release. The Kangana Ranaut starter was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 60 crore. However, it is struggling to achieve the Rs 10 crore mark.

The Sarvesh Mewara directorial is produced by Ronnie Screwvala. It also features Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi and Vishak Nair in key roles. Tejas received mostly negative reviews from critics and a large number of its shows were pulled from theaters on its opening day.

The storyline of the film revolves around pilot Tejas Gill who is on a mission to rescue an Indian spy with some extremely confidential information as the lead character battles her tragic past of haunted memories. It was released on October 27, worldwide.
