Keeping in mind the Kavad Yatra, which started from July 11, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has said that it will increase the frequency (frequency) of Namo Bharat trains on Delhi-Meerut Corridor from 11 July. It is going to start this month. According to the news, NCRTC said in a statement that in view of the increasing number of passengers, the frequency of trains between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South stations will be increased from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm every 10 minutes every 10 minutes.
Pressure on roads will be reduced
According to the news, the Kavad Yatra, in which millions of pilgrims are on the roads, especially in parts of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, which causes heavy traffic. In Meerut, to ensure the safety of pilgrims, during this period, the entry of heavy vehicles and buses is usually banned. NCRTC said that we hope that the increased frequency of trains will provide a fast and more comfortable option for reducing pressure on roads and devotees from Delhi and surrounding areas. There are huge numbers of Kanwari in parts of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Traffic marshal deployed at prominent places
According to the news, traffic marshals are being deployed at major places and adequate lights have been arranged in all stations and surrounding areas. It states that pits and damaged road sections have been repaired on the route and the remaining work is being expedited. It states that no construction work will be done in crowded areas during the journey and there will be parking ban near the stations to prevent congestion.

If you want in Namo Bharat train, you can travel with ‘premium’ facilities in Namo Bharat trains by paying just 20 percent more than standard fare. The revised fare offers comfortable and low congested travel options with access to the premium lounge at select stations. In the premium coach, the journey between New Ashok Nagar and Meerut South will now be possible for Rs 180, while the standard coach costs Rs 150. The fare from Ghaziabad to Anand Vihar in premium coaches is now Rs 50, while the standard fare is 40 rupees.
