Ekta Kapoor, a well-known producer of TV and film industry, recently celebrated her 50th birthday. On this special occasion, filmmaker Karan Johar congratulated him on his birthday by calling him ‘Karmik Twins’. Karan shared an old picture on Instagram stories and wrote, ‘Many happy birthday to my worker twins. The biggest heart girl and the always friend. Love you Ekatu. ‘ Karan praised his creative contribution, describing him as a visionary and a leader.
New project started on birthday
On the occasion of birthday, Ekta Kapoor also made a big announcement, saying that her company Balaji Telefilms Limited will now be constructively cooperated with Netflix. Under this partnership, the two together will work on many new projects in various formats of storytelling. Ekta Kapoor, Joint Managing Director of Balaji Telefilms, said, ‘Trying the story for us has always been the center of our work, whether it is cinema, television or digital medium. This partnership with Netflix is a big and exciting step for us. ‘ He further said, “With this cooperation, we will get an opportunity to convey culturally rich and emotionally influential stories to the global audience.”

It is worth noting that Balaji and Netflix have previously worked together in films like ‘Kathal’, ‘Pagarat’, ‘Jaane Jaan’ and ‘Dolly Kitty and Woh Shining Stars’. Ekta Kapoor started her career at the age of just 17 and has made popular television shows like ‘Because Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’, ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’ and ‘Kahin To To Hoga’. At the same time, Karan Johar introduced everyone with his children Yash and Ruhi’s new pet toy ‘Nagate’. Sharing cute pictures on Instagram, he wrote, “He has been with us for the last 6 months and he has given us a lot of happiness and love.” Karan is currently working on his next film ‘Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri’, which stars Karthik Aryan and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles. The pair will once again be seen together after the 2019 film ‘Husband Wife and Woh’.
