Karishma Kapoor received the Filmfare Award 3 times, said goodbye to film career after marriage
Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor is celebrating her birthday on 25 June. Mumbai -born Karisma Kapoor inherited the art of acting in 1973. Her father Randhir Kapoor was the actor, while mother Babita was a well-known film actress. Karishma Kapoor started her cine career as an actress with the film ‘Prem Prisoner’ released in 1991.
Karishma’s fate of Kismet shone with the film ‘Raja Hindustani’ released in 1996. The film featured Aamir Khan as his hero. The success of this film, adorned with excellent songs, music and acting, established Karisma Kapoor as a star.
The film Dil To Pagal Hai, released in 1997, proved to be another important film of Karisma Kapoor’s cine career. In this film directed by Yash Chopra, she was competing with Madhuri Dixit, despite her acting, she managed to attract the attention of the audience.
