Karishma Kapoor’s prepared husband Sanjay Kapoor’s shocking inner polo while playing polo and lost life!

Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor’s ex-husband and well-known industrialist Sanjay Kapoor died on 12 June 2025 in England. He was 53 years old. It is being told that he was playing a polo match in “Guards Poll Club”, when he suddenly had trouble breathing. He immediately talked about stopping the game and went out of the field. Shortly after this, he suffered a heart attack and died on the spot.

According to sources, this whole incident happened when Sanjay Kapoor accidentally swallowed a bee while playing polo. Bee stinging around his neck deteriorated his health and that is why he got a cardiac arrest.

Sanjay was the patron of the Polo team named ‘Aureus’ and that day he was playing the match against the hotel businessman Jaisal Singh’s team ‘Sujan’. Sanjay Kapoor has also been an alumnus of the famous Doon School in Dehradun and has been associated with polo sports and business for a long time.

The news of his death was confirmed by writer and actor Suhail Seth, who posted on ‘X’ (East Twitter) expressed grief- “I am very sad with Sanjay Kapoor’s death. He died in England today. This is a deep loss. My deep condolences to his family and colleagues.

Interestingly, his last social media post was about the Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad, which was done a few hours before his death.

Sanjay Kapoor married Karisma Kapoor in 2003, but this marriage did not last long and both got divorced in 2014. They both have two children – Betti Adhara and son Qian. After divorce, Sunjaya married Dear Sachdev.

Karishma and Sanjay’s relationship was full of bitterness. Karishma made many allegations against Sanjay about her harsh experience and said that she was just a ‘trophy wife’ for Sanjay. Karishma was not made from Sanjay’s mother either. Both of them also tried to improve the relationship, but could not become a matter.
