Kamal Haasan News: The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday said that Kamal Haasan’s statement on Kannada language was ‘like putting a hand in a bee hive’ which caused unrest in Karnataka. Hearing the writ petition of the actor seeking security for the release of the film ‘Thug Life’ in Karnataka, the court made this remark and adjourned the hearing till June 10. The release date of the film is 5 June.

Yeddyurappa asked Kamal Haasan to apologize: BS, senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticizing actor Kamal Haasan for insensitive things about Kannada language. Yeddyurappa said on Tuesday that he should respectfully apologize to the Kannada speakers and the Karnatakas. What did Kamal Haasan say: Actor -turned -leader Hassan recently said during the promotional program of his film ‘Thug Life’ that Kannada was born from Tamil, which has spread widespread anger among the pro -Kannada groups and cultural organizations. Yeddyurappa said on ‘X’ that Kannada is true, Kannada is eternal. He said that many senior language experts have proved that Kannada has not originated from any specific language. The BJP said that their behavior unnecessarily disrupts peace, harmony and unity, which is not correct. In order to express his opinion, he has hurt the feelings of crores of Kannada people and he should respectfully apologize to Kannada speakers and Kannada people. There is no smaller than apologizing, nor is anyone bigger than ego. Haasan recently refused to apologize and said that he believes in law and justice and his love is true for Karnataka. (Language)
