The famous Sri Kshetra Dharmashala Manjunath Swamy Temple in Karnataka has taken a new twist in the ‘collective buried’ case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has arrested the chief complainant in this case. This Dharmasthala case came into the limelight when the temple and its trustees were accused of spreading defamable material.

Accused of gang rape and murders in the village

The police have arrested the complainant who alleged that there were gang rape and murders in a village in Karnataka. The complainant was still wearing a mask to hide his identity. For the first time, his name is described as CN Chinnayya alias Chenna.

False claims and allegations found concocted

Chenna claimed to be an informer in a case related to mass murders and burial. He also demanded legal protection. Officials said that the Special Investigation Team (SIT) questioned him for several hours and his claims were taken into custody when he was found to be false and fabricated. In this morning pictures, the SIT complainant is seen carrying for medical examination before appearing in the court.

Woman overturned by statement

Another shocking U-turn associated with the case came when a woman, who had earlier alleged that her daughter had gone missing from Dharmasthala, also overturned her claim.

The woman said pressure was put

Sujata Bhatt claimed that her daughter Ananya Bhatt, who is allegedly a MBBS student. She went missing from Dharmasthala. Later, while talking to a local YouTube channel, he turned back from his statement that Ananya was never in existence. Taking another U-turn, he claimed that he was pressurized to make such a statement.
