Karun Nair’s test cameback faded, Stokes’ ball and Pope’s dive sent pavilion without opening an account; VIDEO
Karun Nair Duck, OLLIE POPE Catch: India vs England In the first Test match being played in the headingley, all the fans were waiting for Karun Nair’s Wari, but the return of which Karun Nair had been waiting for years, broke in just a moment. Karun Nair, who returned to the Test team after 8 years, got a chance to play in the headingley, but his return was very disappointing. After playing just one ball, he was out without opening an account and that too because of a surprising catch of Oli Pope.
Karun Nair landed on the ground when Shubman Gill was out during the Indian innings in the first Test match being played between India vs England. Fans had high expectations from this experienced batsman, which was returning after 8 years, but it proved to be difficult to stand at the crease.
On the last ball of the 105th over, Ben Stokes bowled a full length ball out of the off stump. Nair tried to play the cover drive in the beginning, but his bat was not completely under control. The ball got up in the air and Oli Pope, standing on the short cover, diverted a brilliant catch with both hands. The catch was so excellent that Stokes itself was shocked. Karun Nair returned to the pavilion with disappointment and his return was very disappointing.
OLLIE POPE … That is outstanding!
A flying catch to his left means karun nair departments for a duck.
