Kashi MP sports competition concluded in Sampoornanand University, youth showed talent

Varanasi. Kashi MP Sports Competition organized at Sampoornanand Sanskrit University concluded on Friday. Physical health, mental strength and team spirit were encouraged among the students through various sports events in the three-day competition. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Highlighting the importance of sports on this occasion, Bihari Lal Sharma said that sports not only improves physical health but also instills mental strength and collectivism. He congratulated the district administration and organizing team for successfully organizing the event.

The competition was inaugurated on 5th November by Vice Chancellor Prof. It was done by Sharma. On the first day, shot put competition was organised, on the second day students participated enthusiastically in push-up and chin-up competitions. Rope jumping and badminton competitions were organized on the third day. Dr. Satyendra Kumar Yadav, in-charge of Physical Education and Sports Department and Acharya of Veda Department, organized and conducted the competition.

In the rope jumping competition, Himanshu Pal got the first position, while Vivek Dwivedi got the second position and Pushpendra Kumar Mishra got the third position. In badminton singles competition, Dungar Sharma stood first, Rohit Kumar Mishra stood second, and Manish Kumar stood third. In the badminton team competition, the pair of Dungar Sharma and Manish Kumar were the winners, while the pair of Rohit Mishra and Himanshu Pal were the runners-up.

During this, Professor Dinesh Kumar Garg, Archery instructor Aditya Kumar, Somnath Pandey and a large number of students were present. This competition was successfully organized with the aim of developing sports spirit and unity among the youth through sports.
